Thomas Luther Lasseter passed away on February 15 surrounded by his loving family. We celebrate his courage and positive attitude in his 3 year ordeal with prostate cancer. Tom was born on August 10, 1937 to Daisy and Thomas Hobart Lasseter. Both proceded him in death. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Brenda Lasseter, daughter, Sherri Lasseter, granddaughter, Brittnee Mauldin, and brother, Jackie Lasseter, along with many other relatives and friends. After graduation from high school Tom joined the US Air Force and was in the Strategic Air Command as a navigator.
Upon his return home, he travelled extensively for over 40 years in the apparel business. He was an avid golfer and had clubs stashed throughout the U.S. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2014 at Ted Dickey West Fuenral Home.
