Toby was born on November 11, 1945 in Missouri. Toby began his journey with computer programming in 1968 studying COBOL at University of Missouri. He started his computer programming career at First National Bank of Kansas City, Mo. as Manager of Systems Programming & Standards and eventually became the Senior Systems Programmer & Programmer Analyst. In 1978, Toby moved to Dallas, TX. where he was associate Director for Source Edp, where he found much success in the IT Recruiting industry and earned many awards & Performance Clubs, until retiring from the corporate world and becoming a realtor for Keller Williams.
Toby was full of life and was a bright shining star wherever he went. He was always surrounded by friends, family and loved ones. He had a zeal for conversing, sharing his perspective, and listening intently to other points of view. He was an adventurer who loved to travel and was eager to explore new places. He was an avid reader, writer and book collector who always had a publication alongside. He had a passion for golf and won the Senior Championship at Chase Oaks Golf Club and in 2000 he competed in the GTE Byron Nelson Gold Pro-Am. He was an involved father and grandfather who took the time to share his knowledge and life experiences for the betterment of his children and grandchildren. He never turned down an invitation to spend time with them whether it was a grandchild's sporting event or finding the best cheeseburger in Dallas.
Through his 4 ½ year battle with aggressive Multiple Myeloma, he never complained or asked why me. He showed us all how to be strong, positive, and live every day to the fullest. Toby was dearly loved, will be greatly missed, but will live in our hearts forever.
