

Amador "Mori" Espitia, 77 of Delano, California passed away on January 12, 2011 in Delano, California. Mr. Espitia was born on December 22, 1933 in Brawley, California. Mr. Espitia has resided in the Delano area for the last 66 years and was a Lead Man Welder by trade. Mr. Espitia is survived by his wife Mary Espitia, Daughters: Lupe Ann Ramirez (Delano, CA); Cynthia Rodriguez (Delano, CA); Martha Luter (Bakersfield, CA.). Siblings: Socorro Villagrana (Brawley, CA.); Paul Espitia and Richard Espitia (Delano, CA.); Steve Espitia (Wasco, CA.); Helen Castillo and Estela Beltran (Salinas, CA.); Charles Espitia (Florida). Nine Grandchildren, One Great-Grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Espitia was preceded in death by his parents: Ascencion and Luz Espitia and sister Clara Padilla. Services will be as follows: Viewing January 17, 2011 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Rosary begins at 12 noon. Christian Mass: January 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Final resting place will be North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California. Pallbearers will be: Jacob Ramirez, Joey Rodriguez, Richard Pagalan, Jamie Ramirez, Jose Rodriguez and David Luter. Father James Kyrie will be presiding.
