Beatrice F. Amaya

Beatrice F. Amaya was born March 16, 1929 in Delano, California to Marciano R. Flores and Alejandra Medina Flores. Beatrice lived in Delano, CA, for most of her life and married Louie G. Amaya, who she shared 58 years of companionship. Louie and Beatrice had 5 children, Louie, Jr., Steve, Dalila, Nora and Alexandra.

Beatrice was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved flowers, gardening and making things beautiful. She loved her church and adored the spirit of the saint, Our Lady of Guadalupe. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was the joy of her life.

Beatrice leaves to morn, her husband of 58 years, Louie G. Amaya, 2 sons, Louie Amaya, Jr. (wife, Valerie), of Bakersfield, CA, Steve F. Amaya (wife, Olga), of Exeter, CA, 3 daughters, Dalila A. Wise (husband, Sterling), of Lompoc, CA, Nora A. Valenzuela (husband, Gilbert), of Bakersfield, CA, and Alexandra Amaya (partner, Anna), of Santa Maria, CA. 2 brothers, Marciano Flores (wife Mari), of Van Nuys, CA, Wilfred Flores (wife, Pat), of Shafter, CA, 1 sister, Galdina Amaya (husband, Pete), of Arleta, CA, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father and mother, Marciano and Alejandra Flores, and brothers Alvino Flores and Modesto Flores.
