Gertrudes moved to the United States from San Manuel, Pangasisnan, Philippines with her husband Romulo (Lolong) Viray on October 27, 1991 and resided in Delano California where she later became a US Citizen in 2019. She worked for over 10 years in agriculture before retiring.
Gertrudes is survived by her daughter Araceli; her daughter Benilda; her daughter Cynthia; and her daughter Dolores. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren to cherish her memories.
Gertrudes was preceded in death by her husband Romulo P. Viray; her mother Felisa D Viray.
A visitation for Rosing will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Delano, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A rosary will occur Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA 93215. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1015 Clinton St., Delano, CA 93215. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at North Kern District Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Leolorenzo B. Escorpiso, John Lester A . Viray, Arnold T. Daileg, Joseph V. Escorpiso Jr., Joseph B. Escorpiso and Rolando C. Ferrer.
