

Sr. Ignacio Sanchez of Delano California was born on July 31st, 1960 in Mexico; and was called into rest on April 23rd, 2011 in Bakersfield California. He resided much of his life in Pixley and Delano California, where he worked as a machine operator. He is survived by his wife Antelia Pompa of Delano California, his sons Sebastian Sanchez and Ignacio Sanchez Jr. As well as his mother Dioncia Hermosillo, his brothers Alejandro, Ernesto, Fernando, Arnulfo, Alfonso, and Mauricio. His sisters Maricela, Irma, and Mercedes. And additionally twelve nephews and seventeen nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Arnulfo Sanchez.
Services will be held at Delano Mortuary in Delano California on Wednesday April the 27th from four to eight PM. This will include a Rosary to begin at six PM. On the following day Thursday April the 28th, a mass of Christian Burial will be said at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at nine AM, in Delano California. Cemetery services will directly follow the mass, and he will be laid to rest in the North Kern District Cemetery in Delano California. The presiding clergy will be Fr. Javier Alvarez.
The pallbearers honoring Sr. Sanchez are: Jesus Pompa Jr., Javier Medrano, Sebastian Sanchez, Arnulfo Sanchez, Fernando Sanchez, Angel Sanchez, Arnulfo Sanchez Ruiz, and George Clemmons.
