Sr. Jose M. Basaldua

Jose M. Basaldua was born to Tomas Basaldua and Santos Rivera Basaldua in Mission, Texas on September 19th, 1931. He was called into rest July 1st, 2011. He is survived by his wife Maria M. Basaldua, his four daughters RC Cardenas, Anavel B. Aguirre, Aida B. Alamo, and Angie Basaldua. Additionally he is also survived by his five brothers, six sisters, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. His family would also like to mention his son Tomas Basaldua who preceded him in death.

Jose M. Basaldua moved to California in 1966. His wife and children eventually settled in Delano, California where he was a resident of for over thirty years. In life he worked as a farm laborer, until his retirement, for over thirty three years.

Services are being held at Delano Mortuary in Delano, California. A viewing is taking place on Monday July 11th, 2011 from 4pm to 8pm; with a rosary being said in his honor, to begin at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is being said at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church in Delano, California Tuesday July 12th, 2011 at 9am. Grave side services directly follow the Mass, and his final resting place will be North Kern District Cemetery in Delano, California.
