Kayla Nichole Chavez

Kayla Nichole Chavez of Delano California went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Kayla was born in Delano, California on March 14, 1987 to Fonda Gore Ceniza and Tony Chavez. She graduated from Delano High School in 2005. She studied for her CNA in 2008, when she was in a terrible car accident which changed her life drastically. The accident may have slowed her down but she never gave up on life and after years of recovery she was back working. Kayla was recently employed at Home Depot in Delano, California where she had many friends and enjoyed her job very much. Kayla always had a smile on her face, found the good in very situation, and was always there for anyone in need. Kayla is preceded in death by her dad Luis Ceniza, maternal grandmother Carolyn Gore, great grandparents Fonnie and Louise Keas. She is survived by her mother Fonda Ceniza, sister Kara Chavez, brother Richard Ceniza and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Although Kayla is gone she will always remain in our hearts and the memory of her will live on forever. Her services will be as follows: Visitation/Rosary, March 25, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Delano Mortuary. Funeral Service: March 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Delano Cemetery.
