Martin Adame Reyna

Martin A. Reyna, 82 of Santa Ana, California passed away at the side of his loving family on August 22, 2010. Mr. Reyna was born November 12, 1927 in San Marcos, Texas. He was employed in farm labor and lived in the area for the last forty years. He is survived by his wife, Antonia M. Reyna, a special nephew Ricardo Reyna, daughters: Josefina (Roy) Ramirez, Micaela (John) Gutierrez, Aurora (partner, Gilbert Soto) Perez, Armando (Brenda) Rodriguez, Marta (Raul) De la Torre, Marco (Yeimy) Solis. Grandchildren by chronological order: Rogelio Ramirez, Jr., Priscilla Perez-Wolf, Alyssa Perez, Alejandra De la Torre, Rachel De la Torre, April Rodriguez, Isabel, Rodriguez, Aryanna, Marcanthony, and Alyssa Solis. Seven great grandchildren; Hannah, Elizabeth, Rogelio III, Timothy Ramirez, Vanessa and Aalyiah Wolf, Jacob Cruz, Christina Jones and husband Alan, Dixie Jara and husband John. Great-Grandchildren: Paul Mascorro, jr. Thana Jara and Tara Aronson and husband Kevin. Great-great-granchildren: Jonathan Jara and Lyra Aronson. He also leaves his sisters Marta, Josefina, and Estela Reyna of Zaragoza, Chih and a brother, Jesus Reyna of El Paso, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Reyna of El Paso, Texas.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Shafter, California -- Companerismo Cristiano Church at 11:00 a.m. Presiding minister: Pastor Roy Ramirez, assisted by Pastor Gabriel Espinoza. Interment of his ashes will be interred with his sister and his mother in Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico.
