Joan Climer, age 88, of Denison, Texas passed away on Sunday January 20, 2019. Joan was born March 10, 1930 to Clarence Studley and Mildred Williams in Lynn, Massachusetts. She was a loving mother caring for her blended family of seven children. Joan and Frank Climer were married on June 8, 1974 in Garland, Texas where they lived until moving to their cabin on Lake Palestine. She loved playing cards or dominoes and traveling while camping with Frank. After relocating to Denison they attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
Joan is survived by her daughters Barbara Parker and husband Gabe of Ivanhoe; Cynthia Martinez and husband Ramon of Missouri City; Gretchen Robinson and husband Robbie of Carrollton; Sally Crowder and husband Corey of Rowlett; sons Ron Upton and wife Julie of Royse City; Everett Climer and wife Kim of The Colony; Mel Climer and wife Lisa of Denison; as well as 53 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Climer, brother Charles and sister Melba Marble, and her first husband Richard Upton.
