Arnold Ross Cryer

Arnold “Ross” Cryer, 64, of Singer, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Lake Charles Care Center. He was born on October 31, 1953 in Houston, TX. He was a scuba diver instructor and loved to be in the water. He loved trying to surf anytime he had the chance. Also, he enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and dogs. He was a proud graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston, TX. After his years in the U.S. Army, he pursued a degree in Nursing, which he practiced for 30 years.

He is survived by his mother, Lucy Myers Cryer Guillott; two sisters, Ramona “Mona” Davis of Singer, Karalin “Windy” Barr and husband Randy of Houston, TX; along with nephews, Andrew and Owen Barr of Houston, TX.

Ross is preceded in death by his father, John W. Cryer.
