

She was born May 29, 1939 in Church Point, LA to Tannis and Lena (Fontenot) Daigle. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Theodore Daigle and one granddaughter, Tessa Renee Daigle.
Surviving is her husband, James L. Daigle of DeQuincy, four sons, Richard J. (Diana) Daigle of DeQuincy, Michael (Melissa) Daigle of Sulphur, Christopher (Becky) Daigle of DeQuincy, and James (Shelly) Daigle of Sulphur, two daughters, Jennifer (Willie) Ancelet and Marlene (Joe) Ruebush both of DeQuincy, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters, Jane Gilbert, Betty Landry, Juanita Stromer, Theresa Hardy and Margaret Shetly, and two brothers, Leo and Leonce Daigle.
Ella was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in DeQuincy and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 9 pm with a scripture service at 6:00 pm at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy, visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 9:00 am until the start of service at Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur.
