Jon Paul Richardson Sr.

DeQuincy - Jon P. (Big Al) Richardson, Sr,., 49, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in a Lake Charles hospital.

Born in Sulphur, he lived in Singer and worked for Ohmstede Industrial Services as a boilermaker. He loved LSU Football and sports. He was dedicated to his family and friends. He was always making up stories or pranks to make people laugh. His greatest love of his life was his family.

Survivors include his wife, Gaye Foster Richardson of Singer; sons, Jon Paul Richardson, Jr of Ragley, La. and Brandon Berry and wife Michelle of Bossier City, La.; stepson, Josh Foster and stepdaughter, Kaitlyn Foster both of Singer; brothers, Billy D Richardson and wife Brenda of DeQuincy, La. and Michael Richardson and wife Sydney of Zachary, La. and sister, Yvonne Adams of Evanston, Wyoming.

His funeral service will be at 2:00p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013, in The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy with Rev. Wayne Neyland officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, September, 21 from 5:00 until 9:00p.m. at Hixson Snider Funeral Home and resume on Sunday at 1:00p.m. until service time at the church.
