DeQuincy--Leland Justin Wallace, 88, died January 24, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born and lived in DeQuincy all of his life. He was a member of DeQuincy United Methodist Church and attended Shiloh Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Dorothy Mazilly and husband, Ronald and Gay Ann Blagrave and husband, Kenneth both of DeQuincy and Jean Marie Wallace of Port Neches, TX., sister, Joann Burnett and husband, Bobby of Shawnee, OK, 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wallace, parents, David and Della Wallace, sister, Imogene Wallace and brother, James David Wallace. Services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2p.m. in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Burnett will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 4-9p.m. in Hixson-Snider Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday at 9a.m. until time of service.
