Ragley - Leola Theresa Pilley, 85, passed away on Saturday October, 13, 2012, in a local care center.
She was a life- long resident of Ragley and is of the Catholic Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Pilley of 51 years; son, Eddie Pilley; grandchild Macy Rasmussen; Brother Melvin Chapman; sisters, Leana O'dell and Nora Scheehl. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Pilley of Anacoco, La. and Mark Pilley of Ragley, La.; two daughters, Janet Rasmussen of Broomfield, CO. and Barbara Taylor & husband John of Yadkinville, NC ; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 4:00 –7:00 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be at 7:00p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Upton officiating. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
