

Mrs. Warden was a lifelong resident of the area. She was Pentecostal and attended the First Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. Linda loved her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren. She loved to work in her yard and rose garden. With her feisty personality she was a wonderful cook, especially French fry cook.
Survivors include her husband, David Warden; sons, David Warden and wife Robbie of DeQuincy and Michael Warden of DeQuincy; daughter, Debra Frasier and husband Clint of DeQuincy; brother, Arthur Brister of Singer; sisters, Carolyn Marcantel of DeQuincy, Margaret Foster and husband Robert of Singer and Lois Parker and husband Harold of Singer; grandchildren, Tristen Frazier, Deanna Frazier, Kasey Frazier, Tiffany Warden, Amber Warden and Jacob Warden. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Brister; brother, Roger Brister; sisters, Patsy Frazier and Roma Jean Brister.
Her funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at the First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy. The Rev. Carlton Jackson and Samuel Ashworth will officiate. Burial will be in Oretta Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2014 and resume on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
