mr. Marvin Dean Rainwater

Marvin Dean Rainwater, 54 was born October 26, 1959, in Beaumont, Texas to Paul Woodford and Adalene Judalet Rainwater and passed away on February 8, 2014 at Vitas Hospice Health South Inpatient Unit in the Woodlands in Houston, Texas.

Marvin worked for Bill Pierce Construction Company laying pipelines and oilfield work as a roustabout for many years. He was last employed as a mechanic for Doc’s Small Engine Repair Shop.

Mr. Rainwater is survived by one son, Marvin D. Rainwater, Jr.; sisters, Paula and Glenn Murray, Kathleen Rainwater, Linda and Filton Thibodeaux and Charlotte and Hebert Fuslier; brothers , Lynn and Kandice Rainwater and Ramon Judalet. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Adalene Rainwater; his sisters, Darlene Droddy and Pauline Rainwater; grandparents, Eva and J.B. Marshall.

His funeral service will be at 1:30 pm, on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy. A private burial will follow. Rev. Anthony Kennon will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday, February 14, 2014, beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and resuming again on Saturday, at 8:00 am till time of service.
