

Originally from Beckville, Tx. Mrs. Williams had lived in DeQuincy for over 80 years. She was Methodist and attended DeQuincy United Methodist Church. She loved her church and was very active in it. She was Treasurer at church for years, taught Sunday School and was involved in other various aspects of church. She was the oldest living Charter Member of the DeQuincy United Methodist Church. Pat loved working in her yard, playing cards and going to Toledo Bend Reservoir for 25 years with her husband fishing. Life really revolved around her children and she loved scrapbooking, swimming, and soccer. She loved being supportive of her grandkids and whatever they enjoyed.
Survivors include her sons, Kenny Williams & wife Debbie of Lake Charles and Danny Williams & wife Linda of Lake Charles; daughter, Diane Young & husband Billy of Sulphur; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Charlcye Gray; husband, Leo Williams; brother James L. Gray and sister Emma Jean Spiller.
Her funeral service will be on Saturday, April 16, at 10:00am in DeQuincy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Teeter officiating. Burial will be DeQuincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Hixson Snider Funeral Home and will resume at 9:00am until service time at the church.
