Ruby Windham Kellogg

DeQuincy--Ruby Windham Kellogg, 97, died December 17, 2010 in her residence. She was born in Fields, La., a resident of Corpus Christ and Fields then moving to DeQuincy for the remainder of her life. She was an active member of Fields Pentecostal Church for 60 years, Ladies Auxiliary Leader, Secretary for several years. and very active in fund raising events.

Survivors include her sons; Paul Kellogg of Houston, TX and Phillip G. Kellogg of Austin, TX, 2 daughters; Francis J. Hurst of Victoria, TX. and Joy K. Perkins of DeQuincy, LA, brother; Ellis Windham of DeQuincy, sister; Evie Winn of Houston, TX, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Amanda and William Windham, 2 sons; Samuel Kellogg and John W. Kellogg, 8 brothers; Enoch Windham, Willie, George, Tracy, Sam and Leonard, Ward Windham and Curtis Hatchell, a sister; Ruth and a granddaughter; Jill R. Jones.

Services will be Sunday, December, 19 at 2p.m. in Fields Pentecostal Church. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 18, from 5-9p.m.at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home and will resume on Sunday at the church from 1p.m. until time of service.
