Longville - Jean Alston Meyers, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at a hospital in Houston,Texas.
Mrs. Meyers was born in Longville where she lived most all of her life. She was a loving wife, mother,
sister and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters, Becky Menard-Carl of Vidor, Tx., Diane Mounce of DeQuincy, La.
and Susan Herpin of Iowa, La.; brother, Linnard Alston of Longville, La.; sisters, Edith Benham
of Brandenburg, Kent. aand Ruby Bingham of Longville, La.; four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00am Saturday, May 10 at Hixson Snider Funeral Home with
Bro. Larry Talent officiating. Burial will be in Alston Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 9 from 5:00 until 9:00pm and resume on Saturday at 8:00am
