Betty Jane Lean

Betty Jane Lean of DeWitt, Michigan, born May 22, 1940 to Clarence and Vera Barbour, passed away March 23, 2015. Betty was very family oriented and loved her family. She was very compassionate, a kind and gentle soul. She seemed fragile in life, but could be counted on for advice and support. She was always there for everyone. Betty was content and happy with life and she was loved by many. She was originally from Canada and loved her heritage. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Connor Lean. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rhonda Custer of North Carolina and Barboura Addison of DeWitt; grandchildren, Cody Custer, Kale Custer, Tina Addison, and Kendra Wimberly; and great-grandson, Daniel Jacob Wimberly. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington in DeWitt. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P.O.
