Carol Lue Witt of Dewitt, MI age 86 passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2024. Born April 10, 1938 in Clinton County and graduated from Elsie High School. She married Marvin Witt on May 5, 1962 where they resided in DeWitt.
Carol retired from Lansing Community College Accounting and Payroll Dept. February, 2008 after 27 years. She enjoyed baking, tending her flowers, sewing, yard work, traveling and helping others.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Marvin and parents Glenn and Elonore Boice. Surviving are her daughters, Diane (Ben) Miles of Dewitt, Denise Witt of Dewitt, sister Alice (Robert) Dunigan of Eagle, nephew Jim (Ruth Ann) Dunigan of St. Johns and her special companion Missy her cat, plus close family and friends, Randy and Laura Trayer they were like a son and daughter to Carol, Lyle and Marge Witt, and Paula Marie, who was like a daughter to Carol.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10-11 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes-Dewitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St., Dewitt. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 4-8 pm at the Dewitt Chapel.
