

82, of East Lansing, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his sons on Oct 20 2015.
Don was born on April 19, 1933 in Fowler, MI to Marion T. and Georgia M. Cunningham. Don was a General Motors retiree and a United States Air Force veteran. On July 25 1959, he married the love of his life, Sue (Holiday) Cunningham, who passed three years ago to the day of his passing.
Don loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his three sons. His favorite pass time was going on car rides to look for deer. His favorite saying while looking for deer was, "Whoever sees a deer first gets an ice cream cone!” He also enjoyed country western music and as a young adult was in a band with his siblings. Later on, he joined a band called "The Rainbow Boys". He stayed a fan of music throughout his adulthood.
Surviving are their three children, Clayton L., Jeffrey (Anne) and James (Judy); grandchildren, Brianna, Chris (Sara), Jeriann, Kamie, Anthony James; Clayton Jeffery, Nick and Kylie; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Paige, Zoie, Brooklyn, Marcus and Landon. Sister Loretta Kapler; Sister-In Law Marion Morcom; and many nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sue; parents, Marion and Georgia; brothers, Leonard (Pat), Harold & Gerald; and sister, Mary Ellen Scott.
