Gary is survived by his loving wife, Gail Bartlett Burris; one daughter, Dana (David) Sierkowski; two grandchildren, Rachel (Joseph) Carrico and Justin Sierkowski; and brother, Tom (Mary) Burris. He was proceeded in death by two sons, Dan and Darren Burris; parents, Howard and Bernice Burris; brother, Jack Burris; and sister, Elaine Cullimore.
Gary served in the US Army during Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired from GM as a welder after 34 years.
