Lots of sweet and wonderful memories of this Amazing Man……

….All the fun times we had sitting around the dining room table playing card games!   And all the “Shook Looks” too with the echo of his words, “oh really” when you beat him at the game!  And of course, Sherry’s high pitched laugh that would follow, which would get us all laughing even  more.  

But what I remember most about him was his  faithfulness.  He was the spiritual leader for his family, a faithful husband, faithful father and grandfather, faithful neighbor, and faithful leader within the church.  And a faithful brother-in-Christ. 

Truth is…he walked his faith  with whoever he was with, and he did so with a heart for others, and heart for God.

…With love for him, for Sherry and each one in the family.      Peace, love, and comfort to each one.





Jerry was My Oldest Brother, you couldn't ask for a better one.  If you needed
him - he was there, or had a question - usually had an answer.  One of my 
Fondest Memories is playing Euchre, I would always try to move his score cards.  
That being said you had to very careful because....He would give you "His" look 
and then try to slap my hand...of course Sherry and I would just start Laughing.  
I will miss you Jerry, but you will always be in My Thoughts and My Heart.

I remember being at Uncle Ken and Aunt Gloria's house with my grandma June Bennett and Uncle Jerry Aunt Sherry and Sarah.  We were outside playing baseball but I was using a tennis racket.  I was up to bat and doing pretty good at striking that ball occasionally hitting an "outta the park" ball.  I'll never forget the smile on my uncle Jerry face as he approached me and asked me if I would ever play baseball in school because he thought I was quite good. His comments (if my memory serves me) for the first time made me feel good at something sports like.  I walked away feeling excited at the encouragement with a smile on MYd face.

Uncle Jerry was a very strong and articulate man.  His love for Jesus Christ and his family was evident.  He was a Uncle that you could ask a question and be rest assured of a honest answer.   Jesus promises that we will see him again someday, as long as we believe and trust in Christ!   Uncle Jerry like my father were the epitome of who and what a father should be.  God bless my Aunt Sherry and my cousins Ashley  and Sara and their children, give them peace and comfort!

While I didn't know Jerry well, I will remember that whenever I saw him around the neighborhood he always had a smile! He is going to be missed.

Sadly Jerry we only met you once and that was whilst we were riding around in our golf carts and we stopped and talked and you shared your halloween candy with me, now that's a great man to share his candy. But it left an impression with me, when I share my halloween candy you will not be far from our thoughts. I hear they have golf carts upstairs so keep on riding.

I went to school with Jerry and Sherry. They were high school sweethearts and you could see they loved each other very much. I remember Jerry as always being such a really nice guy and always  so nice to everyone. Rest in the arms of our Lord Jerry

Our dear friend Jerry. We are heartbroken at this loss. We are praying for all who also loved him and especially sending love to his family. Euchre will always be a Jerry game ❤️

I remember when tickle me elmy was a big thing and he had one and we joked about the people paying lots of money. Funny as heck. Uncle Jerry, I’m sorry, but you won’t be forgotten. It would be impossible. Everyone was happier in your company. I love you uncle Jerry. Save a spot for me
