Such a caring and kind teacher. I learned a lot about World Religious and maps. Will be truly be missed.

Harriet was my aunt and she shared my compassion for animals, particularly cats. there were always 2 or 3 strays she had rescued living with her and my uncle bob. Heaven will be a richer place now. John May

Mrs Smith was a wonderful teacher who truly cared about her students. I enjoyed her classes and remember her fondly.

As noted when I posted on the PHS Facebook web page, Mrs. Smith (a/k/a Harriett) was a favorite teacher for many.  She had a kind, compassionate style and many enjoyed her maps and charts class.  World religion was another one of her specialties.  She will be missed by many.  My condolences to her family who can see many more tributes posted on the PHS facebook webpage.

Mrs. Smith was my favorite teacher at Potterville high school.  Earth Science was my favorite.  The first day of clàss she stated that on every test and the final exam she would ask the definition of erosion.  If you get it wrong you would fail the test.  I still remember the definition to this day.  Also Maps and Charts.  Mapping out the drawing our school in the parking lot.  R.I.P.

Mrs Smith was the best! She came over to see my "new" house after I graduated during her lunch break and helped me cook burgers for us! I had her for world religion, and earth science. One of my favorite pics in my senior book is of her and I! Godspeed Mrs Smith, job well done.

Awwww, she was my favorite teacher! Her World Religion/World Philosophy class was the best! I credit her with opening my mind at that age and making learning actually interesting and fun. RIP Mrs. Smith! Forever in our memories.

I taught with Harriett at Potterville Schools from 81 until her  retirement.  I truly admired and respected Harriett as a superb teacher who cared and went the extra mile to help her students.  She was a very wise lady and all who knew her will want to send condolences to her family.  May she rest in peace.  Mary Jo Gorsuch

She was my favorite teacher.  I was a  challenge and struggled with ADHD so i hated school.  She never gave up on me and I have never forgotten her.  She even came to my open house.  Fond memories!!
