

DeGeer and Nancy (Beckhorn) DeGeer. As their youngest child will always be
remembered as being "forever young". John was a 1992 DeWitt High School
Graduate and lived in St. Johns, MI.
He Courageously fought a battle with Brain Cancer for 13 months and on
September 27, 2021 was delivered from his home into the arms of the Lord.
Johnny loved fishing and hunting at Kamp No Well in the U.P. He also enjoyed
tinkering on motors and fabricating things. He enjoyed working, and was a
mechanic for most of his life. He worked at Hawk Hollow and Eagle Eye on the
set up crew until he became ill.. He loved to cook, watch the Looney Toons, and
collected anything and everything Bigfoot. He was a practical joker and would
dress in his bigfoot costume and scare whomever he could. John was often heard
repeating his favorite quote "Off to the woods I go to lose my mind and find my
soul".
John was preceded in death by his dad, David DeGeer, and is leaving
behind his son, Jakob DeGeer of St. Johns, his mother, Nancy Cramer of St.
Johns, his 3 sisters: Gidget Marrison of DeWitt, April (Jeff) Koets of DeWitt,
Amanda (Bryan) Rhines of Howell and one Brother David (Jodie) DeGeer of
Minnesota. John also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Megan DeGeer,
Tiffany (TJ) Denison, Chelsea (David) Green, David (Lauren) DeGeer, Kyler
Koets, Lauren DeGeer, Carlie Koets, Raelynn Rhines, MaKaila Marrison,
McKinze DeGeer, Savanna Rhines, and Tristen Rhines, his Best friend Josh
Nichols, his good friend and neighbor Jeremy, and several great nieces and
nephews, special friends and other family. John also leaves behind his furry friends, Tank, Huey, Dewey, and Darryl
There will be a Memorial to Celebrate the Life of John on Sunday October
10th, 2021 from 2-5 pm at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Bath MI 48808
