Kenneth R. Searles

Kenneth Russell Searles, age 79, of Dewitt, Michigan passed away on Thursday April 26, 2018 after his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Kenneth was born September 27, 1938 in Bliss, Michigan to Gladys Searles and Herbert Searles.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Searles. Also surviving are their children Gary (Sandy) Searles, Craig Searles, Alan (Robin) Searles, grandchildren, Ian, Audrey and Elliott Searles, brothers, Herb Searles, Rodney (Donna) Searles, sisters Helen Rogers, Harriett Graham, Christine (George) Parker, and sister-in-law Linda Searles. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Searles, father Herbert Searles, brother Ronnie Searles.

A Service of Word and Praise for the home-going of Kenneth will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 beginning at 11am at Hope Lutheran Church (1180 Herbison Rd, DeWitt, MI 48820) with E. Anthony Sikora officiating. Please join the family for visitation at the church beginning at 10am. Interment will follow in DeWitt Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Great Lakes Hospice or the Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund.
