Michael Alvin Ridge

A devoted husband, Michael shared nearly 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dawn Ridge. He was a proud father to Ted Ridge and Todd Ridge and a loving grandfather to Hannah Ridge. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: Pat (Sue) Ridge, Marilyn Ray, and Maureen (the late Bill) Reed.

Michael served honorably in the Army National Guard and was a dedicated member of the Sheet Metal Union Local #7. His commitment to service and craftsmanship reflected his strong work ethic and pride in his contributions.

Known for his outgoing nature, Michael never met a stranger. He had an infectious sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to share a joke or brighten someone’s day. A true enthusiast at heart, he loved taking his Corvette to car shows and found great joy in maintaining a pristine lawn—a source of pride that reflected his attention to detail and love for the outdoors.

Michael's warmth, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He is deeply missed by Dawn and all who had the pleasure of sharing in his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10th between the hours of 2 pm until 6 pm at Center Stage Bar, 1785 W. Stage Road, Lansing, MI 48906.
