Milan lived in DeWitt for 50 years with his loving wife, Danica, to whom he was married for 51 years. Those were busy years for him: after arriving in the United States, he worked for General Motors as a skilled tradesman for 37 years before retiring; he and his wife raised two children, and he watched his grandchildren grow into young adults. After his retirement, he enjoyed working around the house, gardening, traveling with his wife, playing with and caring for his grandchildren, and celebrating life as a proud American.
A private family service is planned.
