Robert "Bob" Leighland Marshall III

Bob faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired as a Sergeant with the Livingston County Sheriff's Department after serving proudly for 24 years with the Department. He was an avid stamp collector and coin collector. Bob also enjoyed building computers and photography. He cherished his family and the proudest moments of his life were the births of his daughters and grandchildren. Bob shared with everyone how appreciative and thankful he was to have his wife, Shelly by his side through all of their hardships. Bob & Shelly wholeheartedly loved one another unconditionally. Bob will be fondly remembered for his calmness under pressure, patience with others, caring heart, humble attitude and his strength as a fighter.

Bob is survived by the love of his life, Shelly (Thelen) Marshall; daughters, Alicia (Jon) Owen and Mya (Jerome) Ferguson; grandchildren, Jayden Ferguson, Malia Ferguson, Brielle Owen and Everleigh Owen; mother, Doris Marshall; sisters, Laura Marshall and Debbie Marshall. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Robert Marshall, II.

Visitation will be held from 2- 6 pm on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel. Following the visitation there will be Military Honors offered and Honors by the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.
