

Sharon was born on November 17, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Erwin and Mildred (Parrish) Stambaugh. She graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, Michigan where she met her beloved husband, the late Gene Arnold Garrage who preceded her in death in 2018.
Sharon had a special place in her heart for animals, especially German Shepards. She enjoyed travelling and visited many places around the world with her husband. She also found joy in bird-watching and took delight in sighting wild turkeys and deer. Above all, Sharon adored her grandchildren beyond measure. She will be dearly missed, and her memory forever cherished, by all those who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her children, Mary Lou Garrage, Gwen Garrage, Janine Marie (Harry) Knowlton, and Leigh Ann Holding; grandchildren, Kevin Leis, Chloe Garrage, Janine Leis, Randi Korat, Ken Hoffman, Ryan Hoffman, Trevor Hoffman, Lydia Michael, and Olivia Brown; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Leis, Evan Looney, Maura Looney, Charlotte Nayor, Ari Korat, Kendall Gene Hoffman, Ashton Murray, Avah Cornelius, Abel Cornelius, and Aaleah Cornelius; sisters, Sandy Little, Shirley Zablah, and Susan Ross; and brother, Erwin Stambaugh. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gene Garrage; grandson, Walter Lee Wager; and parents, Erwin and Mildred Stambaugh.
