Ted M. Gibson

Friday, January 1, 2016. He was born July 19, 1960 in St. Johns, Michigan, the son of Melvin and Jean

(Farrier) Gibson. Ted had a passion for farming and has farmed his entire life. He was a person who

cared deeply for his family and friends. Ted enjoyed having coffee in the mornings with his close friends.

He worked at General Motor for 29 years.

Preceding him in death were his father and a brother-in-law, Mike Pettigrew. Surviving are his wife,

Cristina Lowry-Gibson; two daughters, Andrea (Kerry) Holmes and Elizabeth (Kyle) Shepard; one son,

Luke (Carla) Gibson; three step children, Matt, Kymberly and Nate Lowry; five grandchildren, Rymer,

Makynna, Kya, Gavin, Alex and a baby grandchild on the way; mother, Jean Gibson; two brothers Tod

Gibson and Lon (Renee) Gibson; two sisters, Paula Pettigrew and Beckie Price; numerous nieces and

nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service remembering Ted’s life will be held at his house on

Sunday, January 10, 2016, at 2:30 PM. The family will be having a pig roast to celebrate his life on Friday,

January 8th and Saturday, January 9th at his house from 12 noon until 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ted’s name may be made to the MSU Breslin Cancer Center, 401 W.

Greenlawn Ave., Lansing, MI 48910.
