Thomas Howard Brockway

Thomas Howard Brockway, 84, of DeWitt, formerly of Harrison, passed away November 22, 2016. He was born in Pontiac, MI on February 4, 1932 to Howard and Ila Brockway. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was actively involved in scouting, and belonged to the Lions Club. Tom enjoyed snow skiing, golf, traveling, and above all, spending time with his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Alice. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Madeline; sons, Thomas (Barbara) Brockway, Murray Brockway; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, Dale Brockway.

A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 pm Monday November 28, 2016 at Redeemer United Methodist Church, 13980 Schavey Road, DeWitt, MI., with visitation one hour prior at the church. Rev. Rodney Kalajainen will officiate. The family will also receive visitors Sunday November 27, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI. Those desiring may make donations to the Redeemer United Methodist Church Food Pantry or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan, 1471 E. 12 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
