Candace was a graduate of Bartow High School in Bartow, Florida. She built a vibrant career in the hospitality industry as a bartender and club manager, working in Tampa, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Known for her strong presence and magnetic personality, Candace left a lasting impression everywhere she went.
She had a deep love for music, with a wide-ranging taste that spanned Gothic, Punk Rock, and Classic Country. Candace loved to travel and especially enjoyed long road trips in the family “hotrods.” Above all else, she fiercely loved her children, and her devotion to her family was unmatched.
Though she always claimed to be a cat person, Candace somehow always found herself surrounded by several dogs and an assortment of exotic pets. She carried powerful energy, a kind heart, and a welcoming spirit. Candace never met a stranger, and to know her was truly to love her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Anthony “Tony” Parisi; four children, London Shine, Lili Parisi, Vincent Parisi and Lucerzia Parisi and her two grandchildren, Lucille Shine and Vivian Shine.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Nicholls and her grandmother, Lois Nicholls.
Per Candace’s wishes, services are private.
Donations in her honor can be made to her family or any animal shelter of your choice.
