Emmett John Landry, Sr., 79, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Siti Rachmah Landry; daughters, Renee Winkler and husband Danny, Dawn Laporte and husband Dan, Emmelda Sembiring and husband Mario; sons, Emmett Landry, Jr. and wife Charlene, Chad Landry and wife Cheryl, Eric Landry and wife Brittany, Earl Landry; sisters, Alma Thibodeaux and husband Melvin, Carole Bullock, Elaine Fastring and husband Holt; brothers, Joseph Landry and wife Mary, Carl Landry and wife Mavis, Robert Landry and wife Judy, Allen Landry and wife Lynn, Clyde Landry and wife Chachi, Elliot Landry and wife Lelia, Chris Landry and wife Alma; grandchildren, Tyler Landry, Karli Winkler, Sydney Landry, Katelyn Landry, Isaiah Sembiring, Nathaniel Sembiring, Lorelei Sembiring, Isabella Landry, Maddox Landry, Gunnar Landry; great-grandchildren, Avery Landry, Elizabeth Landry, Logan Parker and Emeri Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cullen Joseph Landry and Alma Rousseau Landry; sister, Camille Landry Reavis; brother-in-law, James Bullock; sister-in-law, Jackie Landry and brother-in-law, James Reavis. Pallbearers will be Emmett Landry, Jr., Chad Landry, Dan Winkler, Dan Laporte, Eric Landry, Mario Sembiring, Earl Landry and Tyler Landry. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be conducted by Fr. Andrew Merrick. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home of Donaldsonville.
