A lifelong resident of Donaldsonville, he passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was 51. He graduated from Donaldsonville High and was a retired Security Guard. Big John could always be counted as being the life of the party and always having your back. He was a great friend and will be missed. He is survived by his parents, William “Billy” and Rhonda Bourg; brother, William “Tony” Bourg and wife, Loni; niece, Kayla Cavalier; nephew, Christopher Bourg; and great niece, Aaliyah Bourg. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred J. Bandy, Alice Acosta Bourg, and Valerie Joseph Bourg. A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10 am until noon.
