A native of Houma and resident of White Castle, he passed away Friday, February 22, 2013, at the age of 77. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Tammy Gros, Davy and Maggie Crochet, Kenny and Tiffany Crochet; daughter and son-in-law, Janae' and Carl Barbier; brothers, Anthony, Alvin, Gerald, and Clemile Crochet; sisters, Catherine, Diane, and Geraldine Crochet; grandchildren, Sherri Gros, Corey Crochet, Courtney Crochet, Richard Barbier, Tyler Barbier, Ami Barbier, Gena Crochet, Dillon Gros, Jeremy Barker; great grandchildren, Tyler Gros and Brianna Gros. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Smith Crochet; son, Kenneth R. Crochet, Jr.; parents, Flavia Marie Giroir and Alvin John Crochet; brothers, Bruce and Acklin Crochet; and sisters, Beverly Crochet, Emma Sauce, Phyllis Crochet and Camel Crochet.
