Kirt Paul Canova, 42, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was a native and resident of Donaldsonville. Kirt was a graduate of Ascension Catholic High School. He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Cheryl Canova; one sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Ray Theriot; one brother, Chet Canova; nephews and nieces, Landon, Hudson, Hayden, and Claire.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Felix and Rosa Mae Canova; and maternal grandparents, Dorothy Acosta and O’Neil Acosta.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
