Leo Jean Simon

Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2014, 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum, under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville.

Survivors include his daughter; Cheryl Simon, 5 sisters; Therese Cazenave, Lena Himel, Mae Martinez, Ella Dempster and husband Callen and Kate Wood and husband Kenneth, 1 brother; Larry Simon and wife Patsy, 3 grandchildren; Todd Falgoust, Mitzi Oubre, and Kristi Marse, 7 great grandchildren; Kayla Falgoust, Britney Schexnayder, Rebecca Falgoust, Chase Ordoyne, Cody Oubre, Lexi Marse and Karli Marse, 1 great great grandchild; Raygen Schexnayder.

Pallbearers will be; Todd Falgoust, Chase Ordoyne, Peter Oubre, Cody Oubre, Heath Marse and Shawn Schexnayder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lionel and Annette Amedee Simon, his wife Shirley Simon, a son; Lonny Simon, a sister; Lea Simon Becnel, and a grandchild; Mary Oubre.
