Lola Haynes Jones Bourgeois, 82, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012. She was a native and resident of Donaldsonville and a retired office professional with Ormet Corp. Survived by a son, Ted "Casey" Jones and wife Deborah Capone Jones; two grandchildren, Bronson Jones and Britton Jones and wife Valerie Prejean Jones; three great-grandchildren, Sadie Blanchard, Maddox Jones and Karson Jones; niece, Kathy Waguespack; and nephew Ronald Paul Richard. Preceded in death by her husband, Guy J. Bourgeois; parents, Ambrose Haynes and Julia Melancon Haynes; and a sister, Dorothy Richard. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and tending to her flower garden. Visitation at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church of Donaldsonville on Friday, Feb. 17, from 7:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
