

Marilyn attended Louisiana State University, where she was a member of the Phi Gamma sorority. She dedicated 38 years to her career as a beautician, forming meaningful relationships and touching countless lives through her work and faith.
Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and the heart of her family. She found great joy in her family and her faith, and her love was constant, steady, and deeply felt.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Emile Joseph Gros; her sons, Thomas Gros (Aiden), and Matthew Gros; and her cherished grandchild, Nolan Gros. She is also survived by her siblings Melissa Robert, Billy Guillot (Julie), Mary Jo St. Amant (Jeff), and Chris Guillot (Sherry), father-in-law, Alvin Gros Sr. along with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Joan Guillot, her aunt Tootie and uncle Tom Savoia, and mother-in-law Barbara Gros.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will be held in the church mausoleum.
