

Marjorie Dill, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt was called home to her heavenly Father on February 28, 2017. She was a retired executive secretary and notary. She received an Associate of General Studies degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She was a devoted member of the Pelican Chapter, DAR, in Shreveport, Louisiana. A member of Matthew Agee Chapter, XVII Century Colonial Dames, in Shreveport, Louisiana and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Shreveport Chapter. She will be so dearly missed by her daughters Rosanna Goodwin, husband Jim, Joanne Anastasio, husband Sammy, Jon Mary Callegan, husband Dony, and Lila Connell, husband, David and her 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother Jean Robicheaux, wife Christie and many nieces and nephews. We will all cherish a lifetime of happy memories of this truly special person and sweet soul. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Murray Dill, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ovide J. Robicheaux, sister Prudy Powell and brother, Ovide Robicheaux. Marjorie lived a full, happy life and was so devoted to her Catholic faith. She taught her family to truly love the Good Lord and in Him to always give thanks. The family wishes to thank the very special caregivers who loved and cared for our Mother; Linda O’Connor, Connie Broden and Anne Knox. The Pallbearers will be her grandsons, William Lawrence, Paul Landry, John Goodwin, Matthew Anastasio, Reece Coupel, Grant Connell and her nephew, Steve Robicheaux.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, 716 Mississippi Street, Donaldsonville, LA 70346 on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until mass. Interment will follow at Ascension of Our Lord Cemetery, 716 Opelousas Street, Donaldsonville, LA 70346. Father Joe Vu will be officiating.
