

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Mary always gave the best advice and was easy to talk. She was passionate about her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her five sons, Everett Joseph "Poncho" Rivere (Stacy Gaudet), Jason Anthony "Mouth" Rivere Sr. (Pamela Gaudet), Bruce James "Runt" Rivere (Tammy Sanchez), Joey Paul "Tweet" Rivere (Cynthia Landry), and Kevin Michael "Black" Rivere (Rebecca Ogdon); seven grandchildren, Jason Anthony Rivere Jr., Tylor Leo Rivere, DemiLee Marie Rivere, Hailey Elizabeth Rivere, Seth Joseph Pujol, Callie Marie Leblanc (Jimmy), and Lauren Elizabeth Boudreaux (Cody) and six great grandchildren, Kynzli Klaire Pujol, Presley Jane LeBlanc, Lila June Boudreaux, Colt Walker Boudreaux, Codi Claire Boudreuax, and Dixie Rose Boudreaux.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Rivere; parents, Anthony Gilbert and Alberta Falcon Naquin and seven brothers, Clarence, James, Stephen, Russel, Leonard, Thomas, and Rodney Naquin.
The family would like to thank Fr. Tomi Thomas, Sister Vandana, Sister Anija, Notre Dame Hospice of New Orleans, nurse Lacey M. Breaux, sitter Dawn Leonard, and E.J. Rivere and Agnes Sternfels.
Pallbearers will be: Everett Rivere, Jason Rivere, Bruce Rivere, Joey Rivere, Kevin Rivere, Tylor Rivere, DemiLee Rivere, Hailey Rivere, and Callie LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 8:30am until 11am. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 12pm with an interment to follow in the mausoleum.
