Mary Ann Williams, 78, died on Friday, September 13, 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Akers; two grandchildren, Heather Akers and Gary W. Akers Jr.; two special people who were dear to her heart, Ronnie Dugas and Danny Esquivel; two sisters, Irene Tastet and husband Earl, and Doris Hebert; and one brother, Herman and Patsy Solar.
Preceded in death by her husband Alvin J. Williams; son-in-law, Gary W. Akers, Sr.; parents, Florence and Frank Solar; sister, Margie Conerly; brothers, John Ruiz, Pep, T, Hubert, and Robert “Bobby” Solar.
Pallbearers will be Gary Akers Jr, Ronnie Dugas, Danny Esquivel, Brian Smith, Joe White, LeDon Pool, Jake Pantinople, and Peter Kocke.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville. Interment to follow at Ascension of Our Lord Cemetery in Donaldsonville.
