

Patricia “Pat” Ann Ourso, age 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was a native and resident of Brusly McCall, a retired Assistant Warden with Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office with 22 years of service and 18 years of service as manager with National Food Store in Donaldsonville.
Survived by her sister Deborah Ourso Kelley; brother Sonny Ourso and wife Faye F. Ourso; nieces and nephew Trae Ourso and wife Megan A. Ourso, Jamie O. Caballero and husband Clint Caballero, Jena Ourso, and Devin Kelley and wife Terri C. Kelley; great-nieces and nephew Alyse and Ava Kate Ourso, Kaylee Verkaik, and Liam Kelley.
Preceded in death by her parents Meredith “Bullie” Ourso Sr. and Bessie G. Ourso; Nephew Cody Kelley, and brother-in-law Al Kelley.
She was graduate of Donaldsonville High School, an avid LSU fan, had a love for cooking which brought many people together, and she opened her doors and heart to so many throughout her life.
Visitation will be on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Smoke Bend from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Officiated by Rev. Paul Yi. Entombment will follow in St. Francis Mausoleum.
