She was a retired sales clerk at X-Ray Pharmacy, having worked there for 51 years.
She is survived by her nieces, Mary Kay (Richard) Schmitt of Prairieville and Celia (Jeffrey) Blanchard of Donaldsonville; and great nephew, Eric (Maggie) Schmitt of Denham Springs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosemond J. and Eva O. Torres; husband, Morris P. “Buddy” Vessier; brother, Alvin A. Torres; sisters, Rosa Mae Torres and Mercedes Torres Naquin; brother-in-law, Daniel C. Naquin, Sr.; and nephew, Daniel C. Naquin, Jr.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until her funeral service for 12:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Ascension Catholic Mausoleum. The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Deacon Chris Landry, the staff at Chateau D’ville, all of her neighbors and Bonnie Bourgeois and Mona Woods for all of their kindness.
