Marjorie Elizabeth Burger 79 passed away last week in the home she loved. Marjorie is survived by her children, Sharon Burger of Downey, Susan Burger Thompson of West Chester Ohio, husband Jay Thompson, Larry Burger of Grapeland Texas, wife Georgia and Kenneth Burger of Bellflower. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Kraan of Ontario California, wife Mary, and grandsons Jon Burger and Jeffrey Thompson.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin W. Burger, her parents John and Elizabeth Kraan and brother William Kraan.
She was born October 1936 and she was raised in the city of Paramount, California. After her marriage she lived the remainder of her life in her home in Bellflower. She enjoyed gardening, sports and traveling across the country with her family.
A Memorial Service will be held at White’s Funeral Home 9903 Flower Street in Bellflower California on Saturday July 9th, at 1:00 PM.
Marjorie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Melvin, at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, California.
