We have all been so far apart for so long.   She had so many kind words for me when Dad (Orville ) passed.   Aunt Nancy's faith was unshakable.  I send our thoughts and prayers for all the family and hope they are of some comfort. 

I'm Dwayne Moore, Alice's husband. I remember Nancy's humor, warmth, love and fear of the Lord. She was the Matriarch of the family with her faith strongly based on cross of Christ Jesus. She would always end her holiday cards or phone calls with "Jesus is coming - He's coming soon." In the bible it is written, "to be absent from the body is to be present with Lord." She has left a blessed legacy, good fruit, we mourn her loss, but know she is in the presence of God the Father, Christ Jesus and with the saints.  Peace to the Farr family and friends. 


This is the first Mother's day without you here physically, but I can imagine you smiling down at us from Heaven in the presence of Jesus Christ the King.   I miss you Mom.   We couldn't have asked for better Parents/Grandparents.  You raised us right.  You taught us to fear the Lord.  To love one another.  To put Christ first and all the other things will work themselves out according to His will and to His glory.  Coming into your room, in the evenings for as long as I can remember, seeing you sitting there by the lamp and reading the Bible will serve as an example of what I need to do on a daily basis.  Whenever I would tell you that I love you, often you would tell me that you love me more than I know and through the years I have started to understand what that means.   See you soon, Maranatha 

Only God knows how much of an impact that Nancy had on the world around her. She prayed tirelessly for each one of us, in both good times and bad. She was the finest example of what a Christian is supposed to be. Never afraid to witness to the world around her and let them know that Jesus loved them. Giving of both her time and talents, yet took no credit or accolades. A faithful wife that stood beside, supported and enjoyed her companion of over 40 years. A loving mother that bandaged both wounds and broken hearts, gave of her time and enjoyed each one of us. An amazing friend with the ability to listen to life's problems, console and give wisdom simultaneously while making the most out of life here on this Earth. We know without a doubt that we will see you again in Heaven. Until we reunite, you will be missed. Love You More than you know.
