

Patricia Josephine Susoeff was born to Ernest and Nellie Covell on November 6, 1932 at Los Angeles County General Hospital. She grew up in Bell Gardens along with her brother Del, and her sister, Joyce. Patricia attended Bell Gardens High School and later graduated from Bellflower Adult School. She was very happy and proud to complete her education.
Patricia's first job was at a movie theater in Huntington Park working at the concession stand. She loved the golden age of Hollywood and working in the movie theater made her feel a part of it. Later, Patricia moved to San Fransisco, a city she dearly loved. She would speak fondly of the time she spent there. Patricia then moved back to Bell Gardens to help her parents out.
Some time later she met Pete Susoeff, whom she was married to for 45 years.
Patricia had two children, Michael and Vicki. She was a very active taking part in many of her children's activities.
She was a: Cub Scout den mother, a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, an active PTA member and concession stand volunteer at East Downey Little League. She was a very social person and had many lifelong friends. She was an avid bowler and was in a bowling league achieving a high game of 225. Patricia loved to garden. She always had a beautiful yard filled with flowers, plants, and fruit trees.
Patricia was a huge fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. She attended many games at Dodger Stadium, including several playoff and World Series games. She listened to their games endlessly on the radio. One of her highlights as a fan was to meet former Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda.
She loved her children and grandchildren and worked tirelessly for them. She later became a grandmother to Anthony and took part in many of his childhood activities. Later in retirement, Patricia and Pete would travel throughout Southern California, revisiting areas they once had been as well as exploring new places.
Patricia was truly a beloved person. She was a woman with a huge heart and there was room for everyone in it.
She is survived by her children, Michael and Vicki, her grandson Anthony, her sister Joyce and her brother Del.
She will be greatly missed.
